Fizzing yogurt in a squeezable tube is a recent phenomenon. But these tube yogurts received a cool reception from our 30 kid testers. Both flavors of Yoplait Go-Gurt Fizzix Fizzy Yogurt Snack, Strawberry Watermelon Rush and Blue Raspberry Rage, basically rated the same. Only 15 percent of kids said they would definitely eat either of them again; most gave a half-hearted "maybe" or a definite "no." Many said these yogurts tasted too sour. And the fizzy texture elicited a range of reactions. Some were positive: "Sparkles in my mouth;" others were negative: "Feels like thorns in my mouth" or "Feels like spikes on my tongue." Some testers didn't even seem to notice the fizz. The calcium content of these tube yogurts is half that of the drinks, but they are still a good source (10 percent of the daily value). The cost of one tube is almost 40 cents.
