Comment:
There must be a micro-chip inside that tells the unit to self distruct just in time for Christmas when most electric shavers are sold. Completely dead, with no misuse at all. No way to get to battery for replacment, sealed unit. A total useless BRICK!
Never again Norelco!!!

Comment:
I use this shaver every morning. Having the jet cleaning stand is a wonderful thing. All I have to do is clean out the cup and change the solution every 2 weeks. I use this shaver 3 different ways. Wet face with water then shave, shave face in shower, and dry shave when I'm running late. I have tried with shaving cream but with my face it isn't necessary the shaver doesn't irritate my skin.

It is a nice alternative to the blade which even with all the advances in design still is unforgiving if you have any sort of bump or press to hard causing nicks.

One thing I must note. Buying this model electric shaver will not save you money if you actually follow the manufacturer recommendation for maintenance. The cost of upkeep using the recommendation of the manufacturer can be as much as using a name brand blade and shave gel. The bottle of jet solution is good for 2 changes which is about 1 month... you will need 13 bottles per year. The head is supposed to last a full year but is very expensive. If you have course, thick facial hair you may end up buying a head every 8-10 months. That said I did not buy this model to save money. I bought it because of the versatility and convenience.

What I like: It is very convenient. I can grab it in the morning, shave then pop it in the stand and push a button. It cleans and charges itself.

It doesn't irritate my skin at all.

It is quiet with a faint whirr sound when in operation.

What I don't like: They do include both types of stands if you buy the model with the jet cleaner but the standard charging stand is kind of bulky for travel. I wish they made a clip on type charger or even a port for plugging in the power supply directly to the shaver.

It does miss hairs but I think that is more to do with my face than the trimmer. I usually have to brush the hairs up with my hand then make a pass. The shaver does get them but it will take some additional effort on my part.

You can't use the shaver while charging. I know some shavers allow you to plug them in and use them but this one is designed to dock with a charger making it impossible to use while charging.

The built in trimmer is kind of awkward to use. I only use to even up side burns and only if I don't have my little trimmer. Definitely is not a replacement for a good trimmer.

Comment:
This really fails to perform , wet .. dry..with cream.
A very expensive disappointment, but the retailer took it back without a problem . It takes so long and the heads really heated up . Way to many strokes ,over and over . This was a personal purchase that I was doing for an upgrade/replacement to my older shaver which still provided a much superior performance.
