Comment:
We've had this scale for about 10 years. It has good battery life, is relatively consistent, and quite accurate. It repeats very well, and still measures a 62.5 lb dumbbell at 62.5 lbs. It's a very good scale.
How long have you owned it:
More than six months
Bottom Line
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

I don't usually write reviews but this scale just works. I think we've had it at least 5 years more or less and I never changed the battery.
- not the brightest but more than good enough

We purchased this scale based on the CR recommendation. The first scale had to be immediately returned because the LED's on the display were to faint to read on the right side of the scale.
The replacement we received worked great for about two weeks when we got a battery low warning. We figured the battery may have sat to long (as it turned out wishful thinking on our part) so we went out and bought a new battery (one of the coin batteries, not cheap). This time it ran for about a week and a half when we again got the battery low warning. Again figuring maybe we just got a bad new battery we bought a multi pack of the batteries and try again. This time we got the message in about 5 days. So we have given up on this scale. Two strikes and it is gone.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
