Consistently low readings

Comment:
Omron brand was recommended by my internist, but it gave consistently low readings - systolic in the low 120's, versus 140's at pharmacy or doctor. I noticed that about 10 or 20% of the customer reviews in the vendor's website had similar problems. Many said it worked fine.

Comment:
The BP monitor itself was fine though I have nothing to compare it to accuracy-wise. My major problem was the constant loss of data. I have had the unit over a year and just had to replace the cuff. I take my BP regularly and try to review the data. For the third time when I went to download the data, the monitor had reset itself and lost two months of data, this is very bad. I just threw this monitor away and will get another brand focusing on the software. Very disappointing and angry right now. This unit cost over $100 and all in the trash now.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Comment:
Unable to purchase a D-ring cuff that will fit this model. ComFit cuff that comes with it is anything but. Giving it away and will purchase a non Omron product.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
