Comment:
I have been using this product for over a year and was recently given a Freestyle Freedom Lite by my doctor. I was very dismayed to discover an almost 50mg/dl variance in the two meters when testing at the same time. This one was always much higher. Since I have just begun taking insulin and am on a sliding scale, I was unsure which number to rely on. I went to the pharmacy where I purchased it and was told the control solution was no longer available for this model. Although inexpensive, it is imperative that I have accurate readings, so I will have to use a different meter.
How long have you owned it:
More than six months
Bottom Line
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
