Comment:
I do not use the computer, just my iPhone. You must charge the base occasionally (DUH), but can be done on the computer or your iPhone charger with USP cord that comes with unit. Fun to play with and impress your doctor! I find it much easier to use than my regular BP machine.

Comment:
I use it for daily monitoring. Have another unit which I use periodically to compare readings. Send info to cloud where i can access from anywhere. Also can print cloud info in whatever form I prefer. Have emailed info which can be opened in Excel spreadsheet (csv) No need for iTunes. Have difficulty with comment that cord is too short. I wouldn't want it any longer and suspect that those who find the cord too short are not setting up properly.
How long have you owned it:
A month or less
Bottom Line
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Comment:
I use the iHealth monitor daily to check my own blood pressure; I can now share this information with my doctor by sharing the information electronically. Additionally, for appointments, it's easy to bring my iPhone or iPad and share the long-term trends (helpful when I began using BP meds). I also use this to monitor family members' BP - it will store up to 99 different users. My only complaints are that the cord from the unit to the dock is indeed too short; and since I'm a small person (5'2), the cuff is rather large for me and my 17-yr. old daughter. I bough the unit with a 20% off coupon, which made it comparable to some of the non-integrated (to computer) models.
How long have you owned it:
One-to-three months
Bottom Line
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
