Comment:
I have used this razor for a year and haven't been happy with it since day 1. Bought it on vacation after forgetting mine and wished I had spent more to get a better razor. Old Braun 3 foil needed replacing and now I will be replacing this one due to poor performance. Too many passes to cut clean. I also have recently started shaving my full head bald and this razor takes too many passes to do that. I could live with it for just my face as I just had to make dozens of passes to get a decent shave, but now I'm asking it to do too much and don't have the time that it takes to shave.

Comment:
My old discontinued Braun razor died just after 2 years from purchase - out of warranty. I replaced it with a Braun 1-190 - this is the only razor I have had that required me to shave twice a day and the quality of the shave was the worst in 55 years of shaving. Returned the razor to the store and replaced it with another brand.

Comment:
This is the worst electric razor I have ever owned, and I have been using electric razors for over 30 years. I have always used the Norelco brand so I thought I might have to allow my face time to get used to the foil style on the Braun. I was greatly mistaken. The closeness is not nearly as good as any of my Norelco's and you absolutely have to shave every day because if you don't you'll have to use the trimmer on your entire face in order to get your beard short enough for the Braun to give you a marginally close shave. I didn't want to even give one star but the system wouldn't let me give no stars.
How long have you owned it:
Three-to-six months
Bottom Line
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
