I copied from another post because I had the same issue! The only difference I bought 6 sets the these sheets over 3 years and the same thing happens every time at the one year mark. I returned them so many times the store thinks I'm some sort of sheet killer and won't take them back.<br />These sheets were a big disappointment. I alternated between 2 sets of these Dream Zone sheets. After using for less than a year, I woke up to a large tear in the fitted sheet foot area. At first I thought it was just the exception, that maybe I just happened to get a bad set. NOT THE CASE! Less than a month later the other set did the exact same thing. On top of the tearing, this set also started to unravel at the edges. Unacceptabe. I would never buy the Wamsutta brand again. What a waste of money. Well made sheets should last for YEARS. Save your money

Comment:
The sheets are very comfortable, but the fitted sheet did develop a worn area which then tore. I guess that I fared better than most users, in that they lasted about 3 years. They were washed weekly in warm water and dried on auto permanent press then put back on the bed.I haven't decided if I would buy another set or not.
