I bought one of these units and tried to install it following the directions. As soon as I turn the water on to the hand held it sprayed out all over me. I double checked all of the connections and fittings. It still leaked. I returned and exchanged it for the same shower head and installed the new one.
The same thing happened. On closer inspection I found that the fitting going into the handheld unit has slots in the wrong place (where there in no gasket and no way to put one on.)
In researching this online I found a number of people with the same problem. And no fix.
Needless to say I will NOT buy another Delta product.

Comment:
The Delta In2ition resolved all my issues -- low ceiling, desire for warm pleasurable continuing shower while rinsing hair or overall body closeup with removable hand spray, need for ease to clean shower area thoroughly, rainforest feel and easy installation according to my handyman. I don't agree with or understand the negative reviews. The settings are easy to follow, just read the directions. If you want all these settings, you merely have to move the uncomplicated switches, or just leave it on your favorite one. I absolutely love this resolution and am sending it to my brother for a New Year's gift.

Comment:
I previously owned the top-rated Moen. It was ok, but diappointing relative to its high ratings. On vacation recently, I used the Delta In2ition and loved it. The showerhead comes in 2 pieces-- a nondetachable circular head (like a horseshoe with water jets) and a detachable smaller showerhead. A valve allows you to split the water pressure-- all the water to the circular head, all the water to the detachable head, or split the water evenly between both. The detachble head has 4 different spray setttings, two of which I like a lot. If you switch all the water pressure to the detachead head, and choose the massage setting, it provides a very powerful water flow. Feels great on my back. The Moen had a built-in flow restrictor so I alway felt it was underpowered. This unit does not and I love the full flow. Let's also talk about the detachable feature. Showers get dirty and need cleaning. With the Moen, I could tilt the showerhead to rinse some part of the shower I sprayed with bathroom cleaner, but could not reach many areas. I would use hand to divert the water to those areas, but this was a VERY imperfect solution. (Or fill a spray bottle with water). With the Delta, I can detach one showerhead with a long connector and forcefully rinse ANY section of the shower. What a difference! The only reason I did not award 5 stars is that the long connector hangs so it's not the best look aesethetically. But that is a very minor issue. This showerhead works great as a showerhead and helps me to clean the shower, too.
