Over the last 3 years have had to had a plumber take care of sewage backup twice in my basement due to pipe blockage by tissue--Not Cheap or pleasant to do. A friend recently had the same problem and the plumber told her he sees it with the use of this product. We are both one person households.

For years, I've tried other brands (among them, the recommended White Cloud and Quilted Northern) when they go on sale, but I've not found another that I like as well as the Charmin Ultra-Strong. The Quilted Northern is my 2nd choice.

I look for three things in TP. I like it to be absorbent (but not TOO absorbent), strong enough that it doesn't fall apart during use, and cohesive enough to leave no residue behind.

To ease the sting of the cost, I buy in bulk, on line. I compare current prices among several retailers and buy from whomever is cheapest that day.

After reading the other reviews, I'll be watching for plumbing issues but I've had no problems so far.

We normally use the Target Up and Up TP, but when that wasn't available, we consulted CR, and decided to try this paper. It clogs the toilets with nearly every flush, with minimal paper usage. It is unusable for our house.
