Comment:
I purchased this toilet in January 2014. I replaced a early 1980s American Standard Cadet with this toilet while renovating one of our bathrooms. This is so much better than the old one. It uses less water and is quieter, but also flushes and clears the bowl's contents more reliably than the old one did.

Mine did not have the problem of the tank rocking back and forth. I don't know if this is something that has been fixed in production, or if I was just lucky.

It came with one wax ring, but I ended up having to use two wax rings because the flange was at floor level, not slightly above floor level. I wouldn't user the steel flange bolts supplied with the toilet because they will rust, get brass ones either by themselves, or get a wax ring with bolts included.

Also, the seat is cheap and flexes. A replacement wouldn't be a bad idea.

I'm so pleased with this that after one of my other old toilets had the seat break, I'm considering replacing the whole toilet with one of these. Life's too short to sit on a small, low, loud, water wasting toilet, when you can have a real throne.

Comment:
I measured how much water it used to fluch and it was 1 gallon even.
For solids, it helps to hold down the handle for a second longer than normal.
At 5'4tall, I have to wear shoes or my feet don't touch the floor.

Comment:
We put this in our 1/2 bath which gets heavy use. The contractor said, except for the seat, it looks inside & out like an Amer. Std. champion. I agree the seat is flimsy/cheap as others stated, but for the price difference of any other highly rated toilet you could buy a new seat every year for a long time. THANK YOU CONSUMER REPORTS! Over the years you have saved me thousands of dollars.
