Comment:
First press on handle for wet contents; hold for second gush for solids. Flushes well and uses less water than any other we have had. Plastic seat wiggles and plastic screw attachment works a little loose; easily tightened up again. Works well for each of us. Weigh under 160, so might not hold up for heavy-weights.

I had the more expensive toilets in my previous home, but this one works just as well, for a lot less money. I would buy it again.

Heading out to Lowe's this morning to buy a second one. I installed this toilet two weeks ago as a replacement to a 41 year old toilet (that still worked ok I thought) in my master bath. The power of flush this toilet generates is significantly stronger than my two old toilets - different brands and ages. It has two kind of modes to it - you press the handle and release and it does a water saving partial flush of I would say less than a gallon but maybe it is the advertised 1.28 gallons or you hold the handle down and release the full 1.6 gallons. No one in my family has had to use the full flush and there is a 6'3 200+ pound producer that has tested it. It passed. The big donut gasket between the tank and bowl does allow movement of the tank but it does not leak. Great buy, thanks Consumer Reports - I would have avoided this one worried about it being too cheap!
