We were considering this flooring for 1100 sq. ft until we read your reviews! We took a sample and dropped a small pan on it from a height of 2 inches and it created a deep and noticeable dent! I would never put such a soft product on my floor because it would never hold up under normal wear and tear. Thank you ConsumerReports and your reviewers!!

Comment:
We had more than 1,000 square feet of US Floors tiger stripe bamboo professionally installed according to the manufacturers directions. The supposedly hard-wearing finish scratches VERY easily under normal use. We demonstrated this to both the flooring contractor and a US Floors representative. US Floors claims this is 'normal wear' and is not covered. Their technical representative recommended that the floor be finished with hard-wearing polyurethane. What? None of their documents mention this! The flooring contractor has dropped US Floors products. NOT RECOMMENDED!

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

All 6 units in our condo building have Natural Floors by US Floors Bamboo Model 609 HS (Spice) installed by the contractor, and I have yet to hear a good word about the flooring. It dents and scratches easier than any flooring my husband and I have ever had, and there is no way to repair the damage. The floors cannot be sanded, refinished or varnished.

Absolutely no one in our building would recommend this flooring, especially to someone with children or pets. Additionally, it fades easily in sunlight (does not resist sunlight).

More than six months

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
