Comment:
I live on a mountain in Pennsylvania. We are prone to power outages in winter. I have used this generator three times to supply power to the essentials in my house.
It starts reliably and runs about 12h on one tank. I keep the lights low, and only once has it stopped due to overload. It has been so convenient that I have decided against a stationary model. Plus I can take it with me if I move.

I live in Monmouth County NJ. I purchased the earlier version of this unit several years ago after one of our day long storm power failures. We have two sump holes, 2 sump pumps and 2 water powered back up sump pumps. If its a very long and heavy rain I need the sump pumps running. When Irene hit in 2011 we were ready, I had already laid out the extension cords to keep the freezer and refrigerator going as well as the sump pumps. The generator ran for several days and I even had my neighbor hook up his sump pump to the unit. When Sandy hit we were ready and we were without power for over a week. The problem was getting gas since most of the local stations were without power. We were able to keep the unit going without stopping for over a week. I could not be happier with the unit. It has been totally dependable, all I did was to change the oil, use fuel stabilizer and run it every few months for 30 minutes.

Sandy was the final straw, we installed a whole house Gererac in March and I'll be giving my unit to my step son for his house at the shore.
