Comment:
Alside windows were installed 7 years ago in the entire development (200+ houses). Every house has had the seals go bad on at least 25% of their windows, some as much as 50%. Ours are no different. Calls to their warranty office provide nothing more than lip service. They drag their feet, and provide excuses. Going on 6 months now for the most recent warranty claim (our 3rd).

I'm extremely shocked at how well CR rated them, given they have a 25%-50% failure rate and they attempt to avoid honoring their warranty.

Stay far away!

Comment:
I installed all new Alside Ultra Max windows on my home in 2003. I love the way they look and perform. The seal has broken on some of my windows. But, no problem, I just called and they delivered replacements. They come with a lifetime guarantee.

Comment:
I have been installing UltraMaxx windows for over 10 years now. I have tried other brands of windows and always came back to UltraMaxx. The quality is consistant, my customers are very happy and provide referrals to family and friends. I also know that if and when I have a problem, i.e. need a new sash or balance, they jump through hoops to help me. I have these windows in my own home and love them.
