Glidden Duo Paint/Primer bad
11/11/2013
Pros
Cons
Poor coverage
Roller marks
Best Uses
Won't use again
Comment:
Worst paint I have ever used. I am currently on the seventh coat and can't eliminate roller marks. I've tried both zig zag patterns as well as overlapping vertical strokes, large amount of paint vs sparsely covered roller, premium roller Etc....Nothing works. I've used Glidden paints before to perfection, but never the Semi Gloss Duo Paint Primer.

Comment:
This paint went on smooth and covered well. My family slept in the house for the 3 days it took to paint the 2/3 of the house and had little problems with fumes. This is summer in Houston and we did not have windows or doors open. I consider myself picky and used to paint for a living and must give this paint a great rating.

Tawny Birch
4/7/2012
Pros
Lays down well
Nice color
Cons
Roller marks
Best Uses
Works fine anywhere
Comment:
I used two different Glidden Semi gloss colors. Ripe Apricot and Tawny birch. The apricot when down very nice. The tawny birch took 4 coats (no joke) to attempt to eliminate roller marks. Had to lay down heavily and watch for runs. It did work out for the end result. I also had problems with one of three different Behr paints also. Those were satin finish. One of them actually seperated while painting. I just think the mixerat Home Depot must have been a rookie ?
