Comment:
My deck was professionally cleaned, power sanded, dried, and stained (2 coats). nothing was put back on the deck for two days. Now, everything sticks to the finish-chairs, table, grill, flower pots, etc. If I move anything, the surface comes off with it. The finish is a weak rubbery film that can be scraped off with the edge of a fingernail-there is no adhesion at all. others have complained about this on the Sherwin Williams website. worse than a waste of money..now I'm stuck with a sticky deck.

Comment:
In the fall of 2010, I sanded my pine deck down to bare wood, used the Sherwin pre-treatments, and then applied this solid stain as instructed. By early summer 2011, the deck was peeling, and by early 2013 the deck is peeling on all the boards, and very seriously on the floorboards. Sherwin told me that it was an application error. While that is always possible in theory, I did everything as instructed, and the product did not last. I am in process of having the deck refinished.

Comment:
Use this product in 2010 and within 4 months is began peeling. I waited over a year and paid a professional to stain it the second time. Same thing happened. Within 6 months the stain started to peel. Sherwin Williams is claiming application error again. The product is horrible
