Comment:
I expected these pans not to scratch or pit when sticking to safe utensils and hand-washing. Not so, after a couple of years. Also, the fry pan handles cannot go anywhere near the broiler. Mine melted as I tried to finish my dish.
But when new, they cook much more evenly than a Calphalon pan I still have.
So, a very good line, but very expensive and it will not last forever.

Comment:
My husband purchased me a complete set of Swiss Diamond to replace my 37-year-old Revere Ware Cook Ware. The Swiss Diamond cooks well and cleans up easy and nicely for the most part with a damp cloth. The lids are vented to allow steam to escape with out leaving the lid open. However the set is heavy to handle and when I clean them they tend to scratch up my new cast iron sink. I had to begin only using wood utensils as metal utensils scratched up the inside surface and left dents in the pots and pans and then the coating became damaged. I returned my set to Swiss Diamond for replacement and they said they would honor their warranty and replace them. However I had to pay $65.00 for shipping on UPS to return them that was not covered. I pulled my old Revere Ware out and am now using that once again. My mother gave me this set when I got married 40 years ago. I expected more for a cook ware set that cost over $600.
