Use my Classic set daily. Never use dishwasher and quickly clean and return to the block. Disappointed in how the logo on the handles have held up. They are red in color and now look like they are almost worn off after only 16 months. It is cosmetic to be sure but I bought these for the quality and think Wusthof could do better. They are sharp however and do the job.

I continue to use these knives daily and with due respect. I was a professional chef for many years until retirement. They stay sharp and are very comfortable to use. Enjoy with your family.

My 43 year old Wusthof Tridents are as good as new--and I use them at least three times a day. They have never, once, failed to deliver outstanding performance across the board. Kept sharp, they do all the work for you. Exceptional balance. And exceptionally durable handles and binding rivets. <br /><br />These must be among the best in the world.<br /><br />And I agree with previous comments. NEVER leave these knives wet and NEVER put them in the dishwasher. As soon as you are finished, just wipe them with a damp sponge and dry them.<br /><br />Finally, please don't dump these in a drawer. Use a knife block or magnet strip.<br /><br />People say they are pricey. Maybe so. But time saved and results delivered more than outweigh the cost. At this point, I think mine cost me just under a penny a day.
