Comment:
We've owned our system for 3 months now. Initially the sales person was very punctual and courteous. The installer was also on time and professional about the installation process. I love the Kinetico RO system better than the previous RO that we replaced. The pressure is superb, water is always available to meet my needs and their system does not need to be back washed weekly. Also, the taste of the water is excellent. Highly recommend!

Comment:
We have had our Kinetico 5K Drinking Water Station for about 4 years. Within the first year the Reservoir had to be replaced, the filters had to replaced about every 6 months, the membrane had to be replaced. The certified dealer then told us we would have to have a new filter system to filter ALL of the water for our house at the cost of about $3,500 dollars. No thank you. Our neighbors have a filter system for their whole house and they when they came back from a trip their basement had been flooded because of the filter. <br />We have a well and are extremelly careful with how much water we use. We could not figure out why we were losing about a foot a day and we weren't using any. Well the Kinetico Drinking Water Station was pumping water through the system and to our sewer and not filling the reservoir. We could only get about a cup of water from the filter system but the rest was being wasted. It was running our pump for 5-6 minutes every hour raising our electric bill and wasting our precious water. We have taken it out and are having drinking water delivered to our home. We were hopeful but cannot afford to use the Kinetico.

Comment:
Had it professionally installed by my local Kinetico dealer. Took three visits, and he couldn't get it working. Replaced the unit and it still never produced more than a trickle of water. Worse, testing the water trickling out revealed it to be slightly dirtier than water going in. Spoke to Kinetico and they had the dealer replace the cartridges a second time. No effect. At this point, over three months has gone by and unit has never worked anywhere close to specs. It's been a real disaster, and I totally regret going with this brand.
