Comment:
I bought one of these for a vaction property up in Colorado and liked it so much that I bought another one for home. I have owned them both for over 2 years and had no problems. They do need to be cleaned after every use, if you do that they will last a long time. I caught them both on sale for [$] and bought a cover for the one at home, the other one is kept in a storage building when not in use and neither one has any rust. For the money you just can't beat them. I grill at least once a week at home all year round, except in bad weather.
How long have you owned it:
More than six months
Bottom Line
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Comment:
Good grill for the price. I paid under two hundred dollars for this grill and have no complaints. Gets the job done for steaks, chicken and ribs. Grill will not rust as long as it is taken care of. I have had this grill for almost two years now and no rust. I would suggest buying separate Brinkmann grill cover. You take care of your grill and your grill will take care of you, plain and simple..

Comment:
We grill 4-5 times a week. This unit rusted out through the sides, and more importantly the gas burners and the starter. Brinkmann web site says the ignitor and burners are back ordered with no expected date. Grill is useless.

Bottom Line
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
