The non stainless parts are rusting away. The gas valve failed after 3 months. Held for customer service for 45 mins. He told me the valves were on back order and it would be 4 to 6 weeks to get a new one and I could go buy a cheap one until the new one came (it never did). The cheap one I bought worked fine.

Comment:
Bought it from [@] for $699 less than a year ago. Use at my Marina. Grill is covered when not in use. Stored in sheltered patio, covered, during winter (Michigan). Screws, hinges and most metal parts are severely rusted already (less than a year old). The stainless steel shows numerous rusty areas. I have some metalworking experience and this is presently typical of low quality stainless sheel from China. I would not buy this grill again. I would have kicked in more money and bought something of higher quality. Doubt this will make it through this boating season.

We would be wary of any product made by the Nexgrill company. We had purchased a nexgrill stainless bbq, they make the Jenn-air models as wwell as their own brand. We had had it only a month or so before the entire thing caught fire, the hose from the propane tank melted, and flames were shooting out the vent holes underneath where the tank is stored. We were very fortunate that we were nearby, were able to get the tank out without any injuries, and extinguish the blaze before the house caught fire. We had the federal govt investigate for possible recall, and are uncertain if anything ever happened with that investigation. What we do know is that Nexgrill failed to make any sort of ammends nor did they attempt to provide us with a new grill . After owning this grill for just over a month, we ended up having to recycle it without any compensation.
