If there is more than a 2mph breeze and you do not have way to block it forget about grilling, it won't generate heat over 300-350 and the end burners will constantly blow out.<br />Forget about even trying to do any plank cooking because even with the burners turned down you still dry and burn the planks too fast (ruined much fish trying to get this working right and I soak my planks all day).<br />When you can cook on it (eg perfect weather conditions) it is a great grill and have good luck with it then, but I live in WI... when we get no breeze under 10 mph about 4 days out of the year in the winter... (I wish I could joke about this...).

Everything about this grill has burned out or fallen apart in a year and 1 month of ownership. On second warrenty claim, all burners rotted through and are unsafe. All trays have burned through. The dials have melted since there was lack of control since the burners were burned through and unsafe. The warming rack is of such poor qualty I am on my second one already. I am an experienced griller and oiginally thought this would make for an interesting grill. Within a 1 year and 1 month it is totally useless and the customer service is only interested in receiving parts back prior to complying with the warranty. What, do I send the whole thing back.?! It is beyond redemption. The funny thing is that the sale of ths grill is exclusive to Home Depot. The Home Depot where I bought this no longer carries any STOK product. Im not stoked by this grill or company.
