Grill will not heat up in cold or windy weather. In good weather it takes 12 minutes to cook a hamburg on the highest heat setting.<br />In 3 years I have replaced the electronic starter 3 times. I have also replaced the entire burner assembly.

I am honestly disappointed of Consumer Reports on this one. We purchased this model on the Best Buy recommendation by CR and it has shown to be a very poor grill from the beginning. We have been grilling for more than 25 years and this is unfortunately the worst grill we have ever own. Right now we have own this grill for 14 months and so far:<br /><br />- At the beginning, the grill got hot, very hot with no searing possibilities since the flame is not directed at the food but to the bottom plate. Anything with sauce produces so much smoke than my neighbors twice though we had a fire. On top, the infrared trough captures all the grease, food or sauce that drips producing a weird flavor.<br /><br />- The grill is made with thin/cheap stainless steel. Its cover bended due to extreme heat after just a few months. In CA we use the grill all the time.<br /><br />- Shortly after the 1-year warranty ran out, I noticed the temperature gage no longer registered. Really?<br /><br />- Next the painted dials and all other marks that tell you high medium low, etc. wore off... all of them. The paint kept flaking off until almost all is gone<br /><br />- On top, we purchased a vinyl cover to make sure we protected our investment, yet, all of this kept happening<br /><br />End of story? We bought this BBQ because we could not afford a Weber. Now, we are saving to buy a Weber and ready to recycle our old piece of junk.

We have had this grill for over a year. It's great for chicken, fish, pork roasts, we have even done a leg of lamb on it. Frankly, it cooks more like an oven than a grill. Which is good for some foods, but very disappointing if you like a little char on your meat. Again, great for roasting-cooking, keeps food moist and cooks fast....but you won't get that BBQ-char flavor.
