As a long term Weber owner, I was looking for a larger, affordable grill with better heat control and more features. Needless to say, this cooks much differently than a Weber, doesn't retain as much kettle heat and took a little getting used to. Otherwise, has been all that I expected and more...easy setup, even heat, good heat control, good searing option, low flare ups, convenient night light, haven't carbonized anything yet! Overall a great grill...let's see if it lasts 15 years like the Weber.
