I do not write reviews, but in this case it is needed. This unit has great features which catch your eye, but cheaply built where it counts. If that is what you want then don't read any further. We had a great gas LP cooking grill, but it was 10 plus years old cost twice what this one does. Problem was it could not be converted to natural gas. We were adding on a 20x35 large patio pool side, so we had to buy all new kitchen equipment with natural gas pre-wife. Our place is the families gather spot and have cookouts for at less 10 people once a week, on this unit now for 4 year, using natural gas under a commercial vent, in Houston, TX, with high humidity. I am retired so, I clean it regularly using grill cleaners, but it started rusting on the non-stainless parts in about 6 month at the door hinges. After the rust started the heat shields over the burners rusted out inside around 12 to 18 months. Six months later the burners one at a time burned out. I replaced them and the heat shields for about $200 and a roll of heavy duty foil to patch it. Then about year later the inside pan cracked causing serious problems with heat in the storage area below the grill. Next the heat shields started again rusting. The work and cost was to great to invest anymore in this unit. To top it off my son, thanks me for giving up my old grill. He tells me he had to spend $250 for parts and it looks and works great, so with that in mine I checked on-line for reviews and bought a grill. The old story pay now or pay later. When buying the 3218LTN grill, get the extended warranty and have fun replacing parts. I went back to a grill that cost three times the price that I had before, with higher quality, all stainless thicker parts.

While I do not own this particular Master Craft grill I do own a Master Craft grill of another model and have used it for three years. Always outside, always cleaned and always covered. This year the brackets that hold the heat diffusers up disinigrated. I went to replace them but they do not sell those parts and they are spot rivited on so they are not easy to replace.Be prepared to get very creative as some parts are not available and others are way overpriced. This grill has had the shortest lifespan of any grill I have ever owned and I will not consider ever buying another Master Forge product.

HAD A W-B-R G-N-S-S FOR ABOUT 13 YEARS AND THOUGHT IT WAS A GOOD PRODUCT. COULDN'T JUSTIFY SPENDING ~$900.00 TO REPLACE. THEN I FOUND THIS MASTER FORGE, COMBINED WITH A COUPLE OF SALES I WALKED OUT THE DOOR SPENDING UNDER $500.00 FOR THIS GRILL. HAVE BEEN VERY HAPPY SO FAR. USED THE ROTISSERIE AND SEAR STATIONS AND THEY BOTH WORK VERY WELL. GRILL HEATS VERY EVENLY. HAVE NOT HAD ANY ISSUES WITH RUST YET. SO FAR VERY SATISFIED!
