I've owned my Sole for about 5 years -- great machine. I'm on it about 3 to 4 times a week, wife once a week, I've even had my dog on it. I've not had any problems with it at all.

I would use this product, but it will not run. After assembly, the unit would not run. Called
Sole, they sent tech out, fast service, parts all back ordered. Two weeks to wait for tech to
come back. And if the parts come in, they will comeback and fix this nightmare from Sole.
Was told by sole cust service that they only test ten % of the treadmills. Go figure! What am I supposed to do? They offer thirty days to bring back to Sears, but the problem is up
The downstairs and out to Sears store, thirty mi away. How much trouble do you want?
DO NOT BUY THIS TREADMILL ! JUNK! I will charge this product back to my cc co.
And then they can come and get this useless product.

My wife runs/walks about 4 miles per day on the treadmill. We previously owned a NordicTrack for 10 years. Replaced a circuit board and belt and that was it. Great treadmill. Purchased the F63 two years ago. Nothing but trouble. It has never worked properly for more than several months. Significant static build-up. When touching the side rails, shorts out the speed mechanism on the right side. Can only adjust speed in 2mph increments. Had the repair man out a number of times. Replaced the main console twice. Replaced the side speed adjustment 3 times.

I stopped using it due to the high static build-up. Would pop relentlessly. Sole suggested getting a static bracelet. No thank you.

I am now to the point of getting another treadmill. Needless to say, it will not be a Sole.

Treat yourself to a nice ride!

Strength
speed/incline controls on sidebars, 20 wide belt, 2.5 rollers, warranty (lifetime motor, 3 year parts), solid, easy to move, price has dropped
Weakness
1 year warranty on labor
After much research & consideration, my husband & I decided on the Sole F63. I weigh in at 120lbs, he is 225 lbs. We are both walkers/light joggers. This is a cadillac of treadmills for under $1000. The 2008 F63 says 12 mph/incline on the console, but can really go up to 15 using the handrail buttons! Be careful of that! The rollers are 2.5 so the motor has an easier time moving the belt & will cut down on the wear & tear, hence the lifetime motor warranty! The folding deck has a hydraulic rod for smooth & easy storage. It is also really light to move around & glides on the floor without any effort. The handrail buttons are a plus, so you do not have to grab at the console. The Cushion Flex is easy on the feet. The user capacity is 325 pounds, so you know this machine is sturdy, solid & well built. The window on the console is backlit blue with large LCD message board, and is very pleasing to the eye. It is also straightforward to use with 10 programs. While I do not yet own any MP3 players, it is nice to know that option is there. I paid extra for the delivery service to set up out of the box & down a flight of stairs to my basement. It arrives in a HUGE box at 230lbs., so consider this when selecting shipping method.
