Comment:
I drove about 10 screws into studs to hang shelves from in the garage. The gear selector wouldn't move from 1 to 2 (low to high). It worked when I brought it home, but it is permanently stuck in the low range. I will be returning this item to the store. Other than this issue (which might be a fluke), this drill is really fantastic - light weight, heavy performer, no issues driving lag screws into studs. This would be my go to drill for 99% of my drilling/driving tasks. My opinion: Get this drill, but buy from a local store to avoid return issues.
