Comment:
We bought the Cub Cadet because we owned their push mower. The push mower has been great without issue for 7 years.
With less than 10 hours on the meter, the engine of the new lawn tractor blew up. it was repaired under warranty. Several weeks later, we got it back only incurring transportation costs of $150 to and from the nearest repair facility.
On it's return, it felt like the drive belt was slipping. Another trip to the repair facility, more transportation costs. The facility could not find anything wrong.
Several weeks later, the drove belt slipped off the pulleys. after a trip to the repair place it was returned.
First use this spring, the drive belt slipped off again.
I have it scheduled for return to the repair place next week.
I will be selling it and purchasing another brand.

Comment:
I am very angry about this machine. I have had to spend more money in repairs than I originally paid for the bloody thing. Customer support is non existant when you need them. IMO do not spend any money on the LXT1040
