Comment:
I got this to replace an 18 black and decker I had for 10 years and which finally died after faithful service. I have a 1/4 acre lawn. Shortly after the 2 year warranty expired the motor burnt up. My Black and Decker would blow circuit breakers but not smoke the engine like this one did. Also, the rear discharge never worked right. Even when grass was dry and short. I looked at the user manual and called the 800 number but they said call the store instead.

Comment:
I HATE mowing my lawn, but I have really loved this mower. Still going strong and beginning a third season. I have a steeply sloped lawn, and this mower is perfect for me. The smaller bag is easier for me to lift and empty, and it's so much lighter than a gas mower. No smelly gasoline to store (since we don't have a lawn shed and keep bikes and other kid-stuff in the garage). This electric is totally the way to go!

Used less than two months. The switch assembly shorted and caught fire. Definitely would not recommend it.
