Comment:
This is a great mower for the price, and will last a long time if you treat it right.

A few things to be aware of, the front tires and axle are secured to the ABS plastic not the steel deck.

The blade that comes with this mower is a high lift blade meaning it is designed to lift the cut grass so it can be throw out of the side or rear discharge. If you want to do mulching you need to buy a mulching blade.

The bag system does not work very well, seems to be the case for most entry level 3 in 1 mowing systems.

The mower really needs a 5 hour break in period before it will start to run at peak performance.

I have read many reviews of this mower and biggest problem people seem to have is with missing bolts for the hand or damaged wheels. This seems to only be a problem with people that are having this mower shipped to their home.

I use this mower on 1/2 an acre of mostly flat land and have no problems so far. At work I use the 190cc self propelled zero turn version of this mower and they both run pretty much the same.

Comment:
In my 50 years of yard mowing, this mower is absolutely the worst I've ever owned. I've had Lawnboys in the past, and this mower is in no way close to them.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cons
Poor bagging

Comment:
Easy to handle, lightweight, good ergonomic handle design. easy start although the auto choke produces extra exhaust at start up. Main complaint is in the bagging area. It isn't very good at picking up all the grass clippings or sticks. Also, wet clippings choke front of bag, not filling entire bag. Lastly, mower baffle that you lift to place bag has an open pocket that collects clippings and dumps on the ground when you open and lift out bag.
How long have you owned it:
A month or less
Bottom Line
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
