I live in Overland Park,KS where people insist on having lawns. So I thought I'll join in but will do this as environmentally friendly as possible... no pesticides, no gasoline fumes. So I bought this piece of junk and had to take the first one back after a month because it would not charge. With the second one, the whole thing went dead after 11 months. Oh trust me, we charged the battery per instructions to a T. We stressed out it; we wanted to do it right. But alas, now we have a heavy piece of metal and have to figure out how to recycle it. DO NOT BUY!!!

Comment:
Cuts and mulches very well. but if you have a difficult lawn requiring use of the handle to lift or turn, the lower handle is fragile and tends to bend and break. I would recommend to a friend with reservations and caveats.

NO Power Charger quit

This thing has the easiest height adjustment but no power. Had to go over lawn several times to get all the strays it left behind. Then after only two uses I went to charge it and the charger was dead. No 30 volt dc output. It had 113 volts ac going in and nothing coming out. Went to homelite site and site did not even recognize product model number. What a sham. IT IS JUNK. Store will not take it back unless I throw it through thier window after hours. Recommend to a friend? I would not recommend to an enemy
