Four-cycle engine Uses straight gasoline and doesn't require an oil/gasoline mixture, as do the more common two-cycle engines used on most trimmers.
Great Leaf Blower for the price. If I get a year or two out of it for the money I spent I'll buy another.<br />All two stoke motors become hard to start at some point. I found that only mixing enough gas and oil for each use helps prevent starting problems. Another great thing I like is the blower intake is at the bottom of unit so it won't suck in your clothing. A lot of the more expensive blowers draw from the side.

Comment:
Did research through CR about a year ago and purchased Weed Eater FB25 secondary to ratings and price point. Used weekly during summer (15 minutes) and very little in winter. After one good summer season, the machine stopped starting and when it did start would only run for a few minutes. No carburator adjustments found, probably would cost more to fix the unit than to buy a new electric model.

Comment:
Like other commenters, my unit ran great for the first year. I don't use it as often as most, usually only in the fall. All of a sudden it would not run in the run position and I had to leave the choke in the half on position. This just cascaded into problems keeping it running. Actually, I am very disappointed in the product. I will check to see if they honor the warrenty, but others here have already tried and weeed eater won't.
