Comment:
I purchased it assembled. I use it along the benches of the Wasatch front in Utah. The chinese engine has plenty of torque. The only thing I did so far is to lubricate the chute thrower. Well built, ideal size for power and maneuravelity.

Comment:
Just bought this Sno-Tek 24 snowthrower. Came home from the store to find that the grader had left a nice pile at the bottom of my driveway. Fired this machine up and it handled everything very nicely. FAST, too. Throws snow way farther than I expected. I live in the snowbelt just south of Lake Erie....I can't wait for our next snow storm.

After reading the users manual, duh, I found out there are two positions for the drive wheels. One for free wheel and the other powered. I bought it fully assembled and one wheel was in the drive position and the other free. I thought I was going to have too return it as it would not power itself up hill on grass. After engaging both wheels it works great. Now we haven't had enough snow in NE to use it. Guess it's good insurance for a mild winter. If I didn't buy it we would be getting Nor'easters every week.
