Comment:
A heavy machine for heavy duty use (200+ lbs) ... compared to the two paddle snow blowers that this replaced! Give yourself some time to get used to the controls, but it beats all of the neighborhood machines when we get a 10-12 dump. We live on a hill.. otherwise, the weight would not even be noticed. This is the first machine that I have used (over 6 different models) that will power right through the snow plow berm.

Works great and easy to start. I live in ND and winters are long, cold and we see lots of snow. This snowblower has handled any size drift and made moving snow easy.

I must preface by saying my standard yard cleanup after a significant storm is 2-3 hours. My machines get used. The 27 Husky is a strong value priced machine. I love the torque (LCT rated @ 14.5 lb. ft.) and easy steering capabilities of the Husky. The LCT 291 is a smooth, strong engine. It always starts on the first pull cold with 3 shots of prime. This is without using the electric start. I added the weight bar to the inside of the auger housing. It improves the balance of the machine quite a bit. Another significant issue is that I am about a mile from the Husky dealer, if I need dealer support. I purchased there as well. Complaints:I replaced the carburetor when the machine was brand new before the first snow removal due to a manufacturing defect in the high speed circuit. This was warranteed of course. The directional control for the blower chute is awkward to use. You have to push down to disengage a detent. This is common for all the controls. The blower skids were made of a relatively soft material. They easily scuffed the driveway as they wore prematurely. I replaced them with non-Husky parts.
