Cons
Sticks with Heavy Grass
Trailing Cord

Comment:
My lawn is about 3/4 acre with lakefront and lots of woods and roadfront; therefore, weeds are heavy and the road needs lots of trimming. This product worked fine on the easy (low) weeds and grass; however, once getting to thicker brush the product stopped multiple times or line had to be manipulated. The job was completed, but it felt like it took twice as long. So, its good for small / easy yard work, but struggles on the tough stuff.

I bought this to replace a plug-in electric trimmer that had run its course. I liked the idea of not having to mix gas or carry a cord behind me, and I thought a rechargable model would work well on my very small yard. I was wrong. The battery life is usually less than half an hour on a full charge. The final 10-15 minutes of that window, the trimmer rotates at a low speed that will not do much against weeds. Charging takes several hours, and I should not have to break trimming into two shifts or buy an additional $50 battery to trim the edges of a .1 acre lot. Absolutely worthless...

Lightweight
Cons
Not very tough

Best Uses
Minor trimming
Comment:
This product is fine for less than 1/3 of an acre. The battery life makes it almost worthless, and an additional battery is half the cost of the unit. Would be perfect for an elderly person worried about weight and handling that has a minor townhome yard. Other than that, only use as a secondary appliance to your usual string trimmer. Hope this helps!
