Comment:
The lithium-ion battery in mine died after the winter - just one year. It'll hold only 10 minutes of charge. I suspect that the battery cannot be allowed to be completely discharged for extended periods of time.A new battery costs [$]! I complained to Troy-Bilt, and they're sending a free replacement, which is great. But who knows how long the replacement will last. Eventually, it'll die, and then I'll be on the hook for [$], at which point I may as well buy a new, non-lousy trimmer.Don't buy this!
How long have you owned it:
More than six months
Bottom Line
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
