About The Project

Consumer Reports Health Best Buy Drugs™ is a public education project of Consumer Reports. Consumer Reports is an independent, nonprofit organization whose mission is to work for a fair, just, and safe marketplace and to empower consumers as they research and buy products and services.

Consumer Reports accepts no outside advertising. It has no agenda other than to promote and protect the interests of consumers.

Consumers Reports’s revenue comes from the sale of information products and services, individual contributions, and a few educational grants. Consumer Reports Health Best Buy Drugs™ is funded largely from such grants. Consumer Reports is governed by a board of directors who are elected by CU members and meet three times a year.
