There are "Two scoops!" of raisins in a box of Kellogg's Raisin Bran and have been since 1973, a customer rep informed us. There is that claim on boxes in several sizes. But just what constitutes a scoop?
A tester separated the flakes from the raisins in three 20-ounce boxes of Kellogg's Raisin Bran and in one 15-ounce box to see whether the scoops were relative.
A scoop is, well, see the photo above. The 20-ounce boxes had 4.9 to 5.2 ounces of raisins, or about 2.5 ounces per scoop. The 15-ounce box had 3.5 ounces, or 1.75 ounces per scoop.
