Move on

We set out in this article to avoid any "let's move on" lectures or "dust yourself off" clichés. But in fact, one of the cardinal rules of money management is to consider only what you can make or lose going forward, not how much you have lost. That's the wisdom behind the old adage about not throwing good money after bad. So maybe a bit of "move on" advice is in order. You definitely don't want to be paralyzed by what happened or to pursue the same strategies that got you in trouble in the first place.
