10 best places to retire, military edition

Consumer Reports News: March 16, 2011 04:36 PM

We can never pass up a new list of the best places to retire, though we're not sure a lot of people really use them to make their decision. The huge majority of us, surveys say, just stay put when we leave the workforce.

Military retirees could be an exception, though. They tend to retire younger, often starting second careers. They may also be more accustomed to a periodic change of scenery.
