Toyota announced that pricing for the Prius V wagon and Prius Plug-in will start at $26,400 and $32,000, respectively.

The Prius V is offered in three trim variants: base model, V Three ($27,165), and the V Five Premium ($29,990).

Standard features on all include a 6.1-inch display with backup camera, driver-door Smart Key system, Bluetooth, USB input, power lumbar for driver’s seat, reclining 60/40-split rear seat, and 16-inch aluminum wheels. All come standard with loads of the safety features.

The V Three adds navigation with Toyota’s Entune multimedia system that includes Bing, Pandora, traffic, weather, and stock prices as well as Satellite and HD radio with iTunes tagging and text to speech. Entune services are available free for three years.

The V Five adds heated front seats, three-door Smart Key, 17-inch wheels, LED headlights, and fog lamps.

The Prius V will arrive at dealerships in late October.

The Prius Plug-in will have two trims: base model ($32,000) and Advanced ($39,525). It is expected the Plug-in will qualify for a federal tax credit of $2,500.

Initially, the Plug-in will be on sale in only: Arizona, California, Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Maryland, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, and Washington. Although they technically go on sale in October, deliveries will begin in spring 2012. The Prius Plug-in will be available nationwide in 2013.
