Graco has expanded its initial convertible and toddler booster seat recall to now include infant car seats, after looking further into the sticky buckle issues with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

The problem occurs when food or dried liquids get into the buckle, as it can become increasingly difficult to use and may even stick in its closed position.  The expanded recall now includes the following infant seats: SnugRide, SnugRide Classic Connect, SnugRide 30, SnugRide Classic Connect 30, SnugRide 35, SnugRide Classic Connect 35, SnugRide Click Connect 40, and Aprica A30.

Consumers can verify that their model is affected by looking at the bottom of the seat for the name and date of manufacture. But even if you don’t have one of these models, Graco will offer a free replacement to those who want to update their car seat to the new buckle design.

To order a new buckle, go to GracoBuckleRecall.com or call (877) 766-7470.
