Suzuki SX4 Overview

The SX4 is available as a small sedan or hatchback. The engine drones on the highway and delivers slow acceleration. We got 24 mpg overall in our all-wheel-drive hatchback and 26 in our front-wheel-drive sedan. All versions use a continuously variable transmission. The AWD system can be deactivated, but doing so doesn't save any fuel. Cabin access and visibility are quite good. Handling is fairly nimble, but the ride is stiff and the cabin is noisy. Curtain air bags are standard. 2013 is the final year for the brand.
