The Volvo C30 is a pleasant two-door, four-seat hatchback. Power comes from a turbocharged 2.5-liter, five-cylinder engine that delivered good performance and 25 mpg overall. The manual transmission shifts easily and smoothly. The C30 steers nicely, but handling isn't particularly sporty. The ride is compliant, and the cabin is relatively quiet. Volvo's blind-spot warning system is optional. Reliability has dropped to below average. 2013 will be the final year for the C30.
