What will happen to me?

Your hemorrhoids might disappear without any treatment. You may find they come and go. There are several treatments to get rid of them, but hemorrhoids sometimes come back after treatment.

  • Avoid getting constipated
  • Are careful not to strain on the toilet
  • Make sure you eat plenty of fiber and have lots to drink.
If you do need treatment, the outlook is still very good. Hemorrhoids rarely cause any serious problems. But you may get hemorrhoids again from time to time.
