Skin cancer (squamous cell)

How common is squamous cell skin cancer?
Skin cancer is the most common type of cancer in the United States.
Every year, more than 1 million Americans are told they have either squamous cell skin cancer or basal cell skin cancer.
1 About one-fifth of these (more than 200,000 people) have squamous cell skin cancer.
