Unstable angina: facts and figures
After an attack of unstable angina:1
- Between 5 and 10 in 100 people have a heart attack, need an emergency procedure to widen their narrowed coronary artery or die, within seven days
- About 15 in 100 have one of these things happen within 30 days
But remember, these numbers apply to people in general. They don't say what will happen to you specifically. Ask your doctor what you can expect.
