Questions to ask your doctor
If you have athlete's foot and you use a treatment that you bought over the counter, your infection may go away. But if it
doesn't, you may want to see your doctor.
Here are some questions you may want to ask:
- Why did I get athlete's foot?
- How do you know it's athlete's foot and not another condition?
- Will it go away?
- What's the best treatment for me?
- How long will I need to use this treatment?
- Does this treatment have side effects?
- Do I have to stop any activities, such as running or swimming?
- What can I do to keep from getting athlete's foot again?
- Will other people catch the infection from me?
