How common are erection problems?
Erection problems are very common.
About 30 million men in the United States have a problem getting or keeping an erection.1 So about 1 in every 10 men have erection problems of some kind.
Men of any age can get this condition. But it's more common in men over 40.2
- About 5 in 100 men age 40 get erection problems.
- Between 15 and 25 in 100 men over age 65 get erection problems.
