How common is ovarian cancer?

Ovarian cancer is the sixth most common cancer in women in the United States (not counting skin cancer).¹
Every year, about 25,580 American women are told they have ovarian cancer, and about 16,090 women die from it.²
An average American woman has about a 1 in 60 chance of getting ovarian cancer in her lifetime.¹
